Loren Moreland, Student Intern
Loren is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern dedicated to helping family systems, couples, and individuals achieve transformative change. Loren believes that meaningful change begins with feeling heard and understood, and she works collaboratively with clients to strengthen communication, build insight, and develop healthier patterns. Her compassion and goal-oriented approach, honors each individual and family’s unique story while supporting growth, resilience, and lasting change. Her systemic approach acknowledges the impact of environmental influences on one’s mental and relational well-being.
Her background as a special education teacher has given her valuable, hands-on experience supporting children and adolescents with behavioral needs and emotional regulation challenges. She is deeply committed to helping children and families navigate life transitions and trauma, empowering them to strengthen relationships and move toward unity and happiness together.
Loren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family studies from the University of North Texas. Loren is currently enrolled in the Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate program at Abilene Christian University. She is supervised by Dr. Rachel Falbo, LPC-S, LMFT-S. Loren serves those in Flower Mound and Southlake, as well as the surrounding areas; Lantana, Argyle, Highland Village, Grapevine, Keller, and Denton. Loren sees people virtually across the state of Texas, including; Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and Houston areas.
